Siyang

The Siyang (IPA:/saɪj.əŋ/) (translated as the Chosen), are the founding species of the Enorisian Empire, and one of the most influential species in the history of Enoris. They, along with the Gemtir and the Gij Aux, are one of the most prominent species of the Empire. The Siyang's homeworld is Mazaul and they inhabit the Aparentun System alongside the Gemtir and Gij Aux. The Siyang are one of the most intelligent of the empire species and have produced most of the advanced technology used by the empire, along with the Gemtir and Plasmeus

Anatomy

The Siyang are, physically, very similiar to humans. They are bipedal and humanoid, and have rougly the same build as a human being. Unlike humans, though, males and females normally have similiar height and weight. In general, the average Siyang is about 5'8" and 140 pounds. Physically, they are comprised of different races that originated on different continents of Mazaul. Due to the unique biology of the Siyang, interbreeding between races does very little to effect the appearance of offspring, and they generally look like one distinct race.

At birth, newborn Siyang are between 4.5 and 9 pounds, on average, and they're roughly 19 inches long. Siyang infants generally take a little over one Mazaulian year to begin walking, and a few months later until they are capable of talking. By childhood, a Siyang is relatively intelligent, and they can normally do basic arithmetic by about age four. Puberty normally comes at about eleven or twelve for males and thirteen for females. Males remain sexually productive for the rest of their lives, though females lose their reproductive abilities by about the age of eighty. The average lifespan for a Siyang is normally 140 years, though it isn't unheard of to live to 150 or older.
