Gemtir
From EnorisWiki
The Gemtir (IPA:/ɡɛm.tɪɹ/) are a major member species of the Enorisian Empire. They, along with the Siyang and Gij Aux, inhabit the Aparetun System, though their planet, Ingrad, orbits Aparetun Searlum instead of Aparetun Kiralum. After the Second System War, they joined the Enorisian Empire, becoming the third empire species. They are on par with the Siyang when it comes to scientific and mathematical knowledge and technological skill, making them one of the smartest species in the Empire, falling behind the Plasmeus and tying with the Siyang.
Anatomy
The Gemtir are notable for being one of the largest and strongest of the Enorisian Empire species. Males are typically 7'8" to 8'3" tall and often weigh no less than 475 pounds, with females falling in closely behind at 7'6" to 7'9" and often between 450 and 465 lbs. They can easily lift objects two or three times their own mass, tossing it long distances with ease. Physical confrontations with the Gemtir almost always end with the Gemtir winning, and confrontations between each other often cause an excessive amount of damage to each other and the surrounding area; broken bones and serious wounds are commonplace, though as time goes on they have become less-and-less likely to kill their opponent. Their weakest point is their speed, though the fastest of them are still able to go at a considerable rate, taking their size into account.
Appearance-wise, their back, all of their outer legs, their outer arms, the back of their hands, the tops for their feet, and the back and sides of their necks are covered in thick, plated skin that is resistant to blunt force, which it disperses with ease. Blades do little to this area as well, as they are generally incapable of penetrating the thick plates. These plates also have very few nerve endings, and are mostly made of bone and cartilage, with only a thin amount of skin on them. Their chest, stomach, head, inner arms, palms, inner legs, the soles of their feet, and groin area are made of a smoother, less thick skin. It is almost always a lighter shade of the plate's color.
The Gemtir have very thick arms and legs, which are about the size of the waist of the average Siyang, and their hand can encompass the head of one. On their homeworld, they have few natural predators, and none that are an extreme threat to them. The bones in their arms and legs are approximately three inches in diameter and they have an extraordinarly thick spinal cord, though it limits movement somewhat. Most of their body is muscle, with a large portion of the fat centered around their gut.
