Aowlinyar
From EnorisWiki
- This article is about the Aowlinyar species. See, Aowlinyar (empire) for the empire of the Aowlinyar species.
The Aowlinyar (IPA:/aʊ.lɪn.jɑɹ/) were an extremely advanced species that went extinct several hundred thousand years prior to the First Era of the Enorisian Empire. They are considered the most advanced civilization that ever existed, and even in the Third Era and beyond their influenced is felt far and wide. They made their home in the Alizia Galaxy, doing numerous experiments on many worlds, stars, and other celestial bodies. Due to this, there are many peculiar phenomenon that are nearly unexplainable to lesser species. Many species, including those they created or modified, have found traces of their existence, and revere them as gods, as their technology seems like magic. Others have realized what they truly were, and build on their technology.
Anatomy
The Aowlinyar were a slender, strong, and fast species. In some ways, they bore a resemblance to the Plasmeus, one of the many species that the Aowlinyar created or influenced in the Alizia Galaxy. They were incredibly tall, standing at about nine feet on average, with skinny, bony bodies. They had four arms and legs, and, like the Plasmeus, they had long fingers and toes without any discernible hands or feet. Another resemblence they bore to the Plasmeus was their body structure: despite looking fragile and weak, they were very strong, and considerably stronger than the Plasmeus.
Alongside the biological portions of their bodies, the cells, tissue, organs, et cetera, the Aowlinyar also contained synthetic constructs. These artificial cells, made up of self-replicating, manipulatable nanobots, comprised the technobiological portions of the Aowlinyar's bodies. These sections of their bodies are permanently intertwined with them, and make up significant portions of their bodies, these sections having been with them from birth. Thanks to these nanobot-like cells, specific portions of the Aowlinyar body was extremely malleable, and they could interface with technology very well.
